The third Annual National Healing Neen Trauma Informed Care Conference will feature trauma informed care experts, trainers and presentations that will appeal to attendees interested in creating a trauma informed care environment.
The conference will address trauma informed corrections, trauma informed schools, trauma informed peers, trauma informed substance abuse programs, trauma informed Healthy Start, trauma informed communities, trauma informed faith based organizations, trauma informed human trafficking services and more.
All proceeds after expenses will go to Neen Cares, Inc. a not-for-profit 501c3 organization founded by Tonier Cain to improve the prospects of trauma victims and survivors by mobilizing communities, organizations, and individuals to lend a hand.
This is a pre-conference immersive learning experience exploring the implications of trauma informed practice for practitioners, managers, and organizational leaders. The central idea is for each attendee to participate in action research and action planning in order to go into action on an individual, team or organizational level.
Attendance is limited to ensure ample opportunity for interaction with our team members and each other.
In the run-up to the Deep Dive, prospective attendees will have the opportunity to read materials, complete surveys, pose questions and convey personal and team priorities.
Individuals, organization teams, multi-organization teams and community teams are encouraged to apply. A brief application will be posted online on or before March 31, 2018. Check back here for updates.
